Why this matters
The Follow-Up feature helps you track and manage properties that require further research or client outreach. Instead of keeping notes elsewhere, you can flag listings directly within PropertyShark and revisit them later - ensuring no lead, client, or opportunity slips through the cracks.
What you’ll do
- Add properties to your Follow-Up list for quick access later
- Manage and organize saved follow-ups by tags, location, or date
- Remove completed or irrelevant properties to keep your pipeline clean
1. Add a Property to Your Follow-Up List
Steps
- While viewing a Property Report, locate the Follow Up button near the picture of the property.
- Click Follow Up - the property will instantly be added to your personal Follow-Up list.
- You’ll see a confirmation message once it’s saved.
2. Access and View Your Follow-Up Properties
Steps
- In the top navigation bar, click your name or profile icon.
- From the dropdown, select Follow-Up.
- You’ll see a list of all properties you’ve flagged.
- Click any record to open its Property Report.
You can also sort or filter your Follow-Up list by date added or property type to focus on your most relevant leads.
3. Remove or Update Follow-Ups
To stay organized, remove properties you’ve already reviewed or contacted:
- Go to your Follow-Up list.
- Click the trash icon (🗑) or Remove from Follow-Up next to the property.
- The property will immediately disappear from your active list.
You can re-add it later if needed - removal does not delete any Property Report data.
Pro Tips
- Combine the Follow-Up feature with Tags to segment your leads (e.g., “Hot Lead,” “Needs Call,” “Revisit Q1”).
- Use Follow-Up alongside Exports - mark properties first, then export only selected ones for outreach.
- Check your Follow-Up list weekly to maintain momentum on your campaigns.
