Accessing Ownership Reports in the Property Lists Tool

Why this matters

When you’re building lists of properties for outreach, investment, or analysis, digging into who owns a property- and how- gives you far richer context. Ownership reports provide insights into the registered owner, title history, mortgages, and (depending on your subscription) contact details. This helps you assess lead strength, verify accuracy, and build smarter campaigns.

What you’ll do

• Build a list of properties using our Property Lists.
• From the list results, open the Ownership Report panel for any record.
• Review the ownership data, title documents, mortgage summary, and any available contact info.
• Use this insight to qualify leads, tag properties, mark follow-up actions, or export for outreach.

1. Create or Open a Property List

• Log into your account and navigate to Property Lists.
• Build your property list by selecting area, property type, filters, and criteria.
• Once results appear, you’ll use this list to access ownership data.

2. Open the Ownership Report Panel

• In the List Builder results, locate a property you want to analyze.
• Click the “Ownership” button (typically lower-right of that row).
• A panel opens on the right side of the screen- this is the Ownership Report.

3. Review Key Ownership Data

Within the Ownership Report, you’ll see elements like:

• Registered owner(s) and their name(s)
• Title documents and transfer history
• Mortgage summary (loan amounts, origination, if available)
• Contact information (if your subscription level permits it)
• Options to leave notes, tag the property, or add it to your watch list.

Pro-Tips

• Use the ownership data to qualify leads by ownership type (individual vs LLC).
• If contact details are available, verify them and tag properties accordingly.
• If you hit a property with minimal contact data, consider revisiting it later after building a broader list and reviewing ownership trends.
• Maintain a consistent folder/tag structure so your ownership insights feed directly into your outreach workflow.
