Why this matters
Auction results provide insight into distressed property sales after they’ve gone to auction. Whether the property was sold, cancelled, or reverted back to the bank, this data helps you understand investor activity, pricing trends, and future acquisition opportunities.
Reviewing auction results also helps you avoid targeting properties that are no longer available - and allows you to identify REO (bank-owned) properties for potential direct purchase.

| Bank-Owned (REO) | No third-party bids; property reverted to lender | Opportunity to negotiate with the bank |
| Cancelled/Postponed | Auction delayed | Can be monitored for re-listing |
| Withdrawn | Auction removed | Often indicates settlement or ownership resolution |
