If you’re not receiving emails from PropertyShark (account activation, password reset, reports, notifications, etc.), this article walks you through the most common causes and how to fix them.
Check the Email Address on Your Account
- Ensure the email you entered during signup is valid and that you can access it.
- When entering your email for account creation, look out for typos or misspellings.
Remember: you can only use one email address per PropertyShark account. If you type a different email for tasks like password reset or report delivery, you won’t receive the email.
Check Your Spam/Junk Folder
- Emails may be directed to your spam or junk folders depending on your email provider’s settings.
- Review your spam/junk folder and mark PropertyShark emails as “Not spam” or move them to your inbox to improve future delivery.
Special Case: AOL & Verizon Accounts
If your email is managed by AOL or Verizon, you may experience delays or delivery issues despite everything being correct.
What you can do:
- Add support@propertyshark.com to your approved senders/contacts.
- Consider updating your PropertyShark account to use a different email address not managed by AOL or Verizon.
You May Be Unsubscribed from Emails
It’s possible you previously unsubscribed from receiving messages:
- Check a past email from PropertyShark:
- If it has an “Unsubscribe” link, click it and follow steps to resubscribe.
