If you're not receiving emails from PropertyShark, here are some possible causes:
1. The Email You Have Entered is Incorrect or Invalid
Signing Up for an Account
When creating an account, ensure that the email you're typing in is valid and that you have access to it. When an account is created, the system sends an email with an activation link. If you use an invalid email address, you won't receive the validation email and won't be able to set up the account correctly.
Spelling Errors or Typos in Your Email
In some instances, you will need to type in the email address for your account, such as when you request a password reset email or when you email a property report to yourself. If the email address you entered has a typo, you won't receive the email.
Please note that you can use only one email address per PropertyShark account. Therefore, if you type in an email address that's different from the one you used when you signed up, you won't receive the email. The only time you can use a different email address is when you send a property report by email to someone else.
2. Emails Are Going to Spam/Junk Instead of Inbox
Depending on your preferences with your email provider, PropertyShark emails can end up in the spam or junk folders, instead of your inbox. There are several steps to rectify this. To learn more, click on your provider:
3. Special Cases: AOL & Verizon
Although we've tried to rectify this on our end, AOL and Verizon email addresses continue to experience interruptions in the delivery of our emails.
The delivery of these messages seems to be delayed as a result of a specific configuration or setup with AOL. Unfortunately, there is nothing further that we can do to speed up or improve the delivery of our messages. However, here are two possible suggestions:
- Add support@propertyshark.com to the list of approved senders in your email (or to your address book).
- Update the email address on your PropertyShark account to another mailbox that is not managed by AOL.
4. Unsubscribed from receiving our emails
The simplest way to resubscribe to emails on Gmail is to search for a previous email from the sender. Once you've found one, pen the email and, if you previously unsubscribed, click on the “Unsubscribe” link again, then confirm the resubscription.
