Foreclosure & Pre-foreclosure Archives

You can check if a property was scheduled for auction in the past or if it had any liens by viewing the Property Report or Foreclosures/Pre-Foreclosures sections:

From the Property Report

1. If you know the property address, pull up the report via the search box on the home page.
2. Under the “Documents” tab, scroll down to the “Foreclosures” section. 
3. Click on the plus sign (+) to show the details of past auctions.

Liens information is also available in the "Documents" tab, under the "Liens" section:

From the Foreclosure Section

1. Go to the foreclosure page.
2. From the advanced search on the left side, select the "Show" field.
3. Select the month for which you want to see past auctions.
4. Press "Search" for your list to update with the advanced criteria.

If you are looking for properties that have a lien filed against them, follow the same process as foreclosures.

Note: With a monthly subscription, you can go back only as far as your active and continuous PropertyShark service includes access to this information. If you have a yearly subscription, you will be able to view 12 months of historical data.

Disclaimer: Users can have access to a maximum of 36 months of Foreclosure and Pre-Foreclosure data, provided they have continuous and uninterrupted access.
