You can check if a property was scheduled for auction in the past or if it had any liens by viewing the Property Report or Foreclosures/Pre-Foreclosures sections:
From the Property Report
- If you know the property address, pull up the report via the search box on the home page.
- Under the “Documents” tab, scroll down to the “Foreclosures” section.
- Click on the plus sign (+) to show the details of past auctions.
Liens information is also available in the "Documents" tab, under the "Liens" section:
From the Foreclosure Section
- Go to the foreclosure page.
- From the advanced search on the left side, select the "Show" field.
- Select the month for which you want to see past auctions.
- Press "Search" for your list to update with the advanced criteria.
If you are looking for properties that have a lien filed against them, follow the same process as foreclosures.
Note: With a monthly subscription, you can go back only as far as your active and continuous PropertyShark service includes access to this information. If you have a yearly subscription, you will be able to view 12 months of historical data.
Disclaimer: Users can have access to a maximum of 36 months of Foreclosure and Pre-Foreclosure data, provided they have continuous and uninterrupted access.
