For the security of your account and its content, our system was designed to detect “account sharing” whenever the system detects your account being signed in on 2 devices/browsers at the same time.
This can trigger if:
- More than 1 person is using the account.
- You signed in on your "Work" computer and then tried signing in in your "Home" computer.
- You forgot to 'Sign Out" from your account and then turned your device off.
If you’re using your PropertyShark account both in your office and at home, be sure to log out before signing in on another device. This will enable you to switch between devices without triggering the "Account Sharing" message.
You can use one a computer/laptop and a phone at the same time.
Your browser is gathering "Cookies and Cache" whenever you browse the internet. Because of this, the browser will remember whenever you sign in on Property Shark. Having this in mind, if we turn off the phone or computer while Property Shark is still on, the next time we open Property Shark, it will ask you to "Sign in". If we go ahead and sign in, the system will see that you are signing in 2 times and will trigger the "Account Sharing"
Unfortunately, the only way for this to stop happening is to always remember to Sign Out when you stop using Property Shark.
