How to Run a Deep Owner Search

To determine what properties an owner (whether an individual or a company) is affiliated with, run a deep owner search.

1. First, switch to the “Owner” tab.
2. Then, type in the (1) Owner’s name and (2) Location.
3. Next, press the “Search” button to open the Deep Owner Search. Here, you’ll be able to see currently and previously owned properties, as well as those that the owner is associated with. All search filters are selected by default; uncheck any of them to fine-tune your search.

Once the results have loaded, you’ll have all of the information that is relevant to your research:

• Property address
• Owner(s) names
• Building class and square footage
• Time held
• Link to the Property Report
• Property contacts

To see all of the properties an owner is affiliated with within all of the states that PropertyShark has information for, simply run the search again and leave the location box empty.
